Support Services |
English Language Learner
Students who have English as their second language may participate in ELL programs. Students qualify for this service based on criteria set by District 200. |
Gifted Education
Students in grades three through five may qualify for the talented and gifted(TAG) education program. This math and reading program utilizes a replacement model and students see the TAG teacher daily for their math and/or reading instruction. Students qualify for this program through district criteria. |
Math Support
Students in kindergarten through fifth grade may receive assistance in the area of math through our math support department. This support may be given through an in-class model or a pull out model. District criteria is used to qualify students for this additional support. |
Reading Support
Students in kindergarten through fifth grade may receive assistance in the area of reading through our reading support department. This department is made up of reading specialists and trained reading assistants. District criteria is used to qualify students for this additional support. |
Psychology
A school psychologist is on staff on a part time basis. One of the roles of the school psychologist is to work through the child review process. Short term intervention is also available. |
Social Work
The social work services are available to work with students individually or in small groups on a short term or long term basis. The social worker is on staff on a part time basis. Students may qualify for social work services through the child review process. |
Speech and Language Therapy
Students may qualify to receive speech and/or language therapy through the child review process. A speech and language therapist is available to work with students in their area of eligibility. |
